We use your pictures to create a lovely and cohesive drawing that’ll incorporate any family member (living or passed-on), friend, angel baby, or pet you wish included.
After placing an order, email your pictures to us (firstname.lastname@example.org) and we’ll begin drawing. Once it’s done, you’ll get the finished drawing electronically delivered to your inbox - no printed copy will ship to your home.
When you receive the drawing, you’ll have the chance to make any edits if needed. When you're happy with the design, you’re free to print it out any size you want (we recommend no larger than 20x24 inches) and make as many copies as you'd like.
To place an order, please visit our shop and find the type of drawing you want. Make your selections from the drop-down menus, fill out the form, and add the drawing to your cart.
After you’ve checked out, please email us your pictures and any special requests or information we’ll need to complete your drawing.
Important details to include:
- Who/what you want drawn (include a backstory if you're comfortable sharing)
- Who has passed and if you wish to add a halo (if applicable)
- Any color scheme preferences (optional)
- Any details from your pictures you wish included
Need time to gather your pictures? You have around 3-4 weeks before we’ll need them, so you have time to collect them together.
We limit orders to once a month to keep up with the demand. With just one artist behind BFL, this ensures that all orders are delivered by the promised delivery date.
We take new orders once a month (usually on the last Wednesday) at either 10 am EST or 4 pm EST. Please see the announcement banner at the top of the website for the date and time of our next reopening.
Order limit: 2 drawings per order.
You're unable to check out of the shop with more than 2 drawings in your cart, so please adjust accordingly.
This limit doesn't apply to the Drawing Upgrades and our Custom Stickers.

Our drawings are made from you pictures, which means if we don't received them we can't complete your order.
If we don't hear from you after 6 weeks, we will make three attempts to reach you via the email provided with your order. If we do not hear back after our third attempt, we will cancel your order and issue a full refund.
Please, don’t ghost us.

Unfortunately, due to copyright reasons, Born From Lines is unable to draw any celebrity, public person, or character owned by another company without written permission.
Yes, you can make any necessary changes once you've received your finished drawing. We offer one round of complimentary revisions on small edits - includes but not limited to: changes in color or editing parts of someone's body (moving a hand or removing glasses).
Any editing requests after this or large edits (includes but not limited to: such as redrawing a person) may or will result in an additional charge.*
If further editing is necessary, we'll discuss these options.
At the end of the day, we want your drawing to turn out just right so let's work together to make that happen.
*It’s at the discretion of the artist what is considered “small” and “large” edit based on time needed to complete the revisions.
Our pre-sale is a 24-hour event where you can order your drawing without the worry of us selling out.
You'll be able to shop our fully-stocked store before our regular reopening.
There'll be a pre-sale every month, so there are plenty of opportunities if one doesn't fit your schedule.
The pre-sale is only available for those with a ticket.
Currently, only 30 tickets are offered per pre-sale, so make sure to be ready!
With a ticket, you'll get a secret code emailed to you that will unlock the shop.

No, you'll just need one ticket to enter the pre-sale. Once you're in, you can order up to two drawings.

Like an in-person event, you must use your pre-sale ticket during the pre-sale or else it will expire.
