I use your pictures to create a lovely and cohesive drawing that’ll incorporate any family member (living or passed-on), friend, angel baby, or pet.

After placing an order, email your pictures and any special instructions to info@bornfromlines.com.

Once it’s done, you’ll get the finished drawing electronically delivered to your inbox - no printed copy will ship to your home.

You will have the chance to make any edits you'd like to ensure your drawing is perfect.

When you're happy with your drawing, you’re free to print it out any size you want (I recommend no larger than 20x24 inches) and make as many copies as you'd like.

To place an order, please visit the shop and find the type of drawing you want. Make your selections from the drop-down menus, fill out the form, and add the drawing to your cart.

After you’ve checked out, please email me your pictures and any special requests or information we’ll need to complete your drawing.

Important details to include:

- Who/what you want drawn (include a backstory if you're comfortable sharing)

- Who has passed and if you wish to add a halo (if applicable)

- Any color scheme preferences (optional)

- Any details from your pictures you wish included

Need time to gather your pictures? You have around 4-5 weeks before I’ll need them, so you have time to collect them together.

Yes, I take international order as all drawings are digital files and are delivered via email.

No, at this time there is no waitlist to place an order. The shop is open for you and there's no need to wait.

The waitlist will return if overall order volume exceeds the artist's capacity to maintain promised delivery time.

There are currently no order limits.

The longer you wait, the longer it will take for your order to be completed and could result in your order being delayed.

Yes, depending on order you'll have one or two different chances to make changes to your drawing. 

If you ordered a drawing in color, you'll receive an outlined draft of your drawing to review and make any changes before I start working on the colors and the final touches.

You'll have another chance to make edits once you see the final drawing.

If you ordered a drawing in black and white, you won't receive a draft but can make changes once you see the final drawing.

If you're drawing is completely finished, I offer one round of complimentary revisions on small edits - includes but not limited to: changes in color or editing parts of someone's body (moving a hand or removing glasses).

Any editing requests after this or large edits (includes but not limited to: such as redrawing a person) may or will result in an additional charge.*

If further editing is necessary, we'll discuss these options.

At the end of the day, I want your drawing to turn out just right so let's work together to make that happen.

*It’s at the discretion of the artist what is considered “small” and “large” edit based on time needed to complete the revisions.

Yes, you must order or already own a BFL drawing to have a drawing printed on your apparel.

Already have a BFL drawing? You'll receive a mock-up of your apparel to review/approve 1-2 weeks after ordering.

After approval, your order will be printed and shipped. Please allow for 5-8 business days for this part of the process.

Ordering a drawing and a crewneck/T-shirt? Please allow the standard 6-8 week turnaround time for the drawing and then an additional 5-8 business days for printing and shipping.

You'll get your custom drawing emailed as a digital JPEG file in 3-5 or 6-8 weeks (check to see the delivery timeline on the drawing you're ordering).

If you have a picture of them (even if it's older), please include this with your order.

You can choose to either have your baby drawn as a swaddled baby in someone’s arms or the age they would be today.

If you select the latter, I’ll either use the image of a sibling as a reference or create an outline that matches the rest of your family.
